Basic questions about solar power
An on-grid system works connected to the grid: the electricity it produces is used in the building first and the surplus is fed into the grid. An off-grid system is independent of the grid; it generates and stores its own electricity with panels, a battery and an inverter, and is used where there is no grid, such as cabins, caravans or fields. A hybrid system combines the two: it is grid-connected but also uses a battery and keeps selected loads running during an outage.
Grid-connected systems without a battery shut down automatically during an outage to protect crews working on the grid. If you want power during outages too, you need a hybrid or off-grid system with a battery; which appliances are backed up is defined in the design.
Yes. Panels generate from diffuse light as well as direct sunshine; output drops on cloudy days and short winter days but does not stop. Savings estimates are based on annual yield, so seasonal differences are already taken into account.
Quality panels generate electricity for decades; manufacturers usually give a 25–30-year power (performance) warranty. Panel efficiency declines slowly over the years; the annual loss rate and the warranty period are stated in each panel's manufacturer data sheet.
Certified panels pass the hail and mechanical load tests of the IEC 61215 standard. Wind and snow load ratings are stated in each panel's data sheet, and the mounting system must also be chosen for the local wind conditions.
Plug-and-play kits need no technical knowledge: place the panel in a shade-free spot and connect the colour-coded cables. Connections to the grid or to an electrical panel must be made by a qualified electrician; in the Antalya region we offer optional on-site installation.

Getting started with solar
Choose companies that deliver turnkey (engineering, installation, financing and maintenance from one source), offer a free site survey, provide brand warranties on panels and inverters, and have reference projects with a local field team. GESPA Enerji, based in Manavgat/Antalya, provides all of these turnkey.
Based in Manavgat, we serve Side, Antalya, Alanya, Serik, Gazipaşa and the region; rooftop solar, ground-mounted solar and solar irrigation across Türkiye on request.
Typically 3–6 years depending on consumption profile, region and electricity price. Estimate your roof-specific payback in seconds with our free online calculator.
Just request a free site survey. A clear offer is prepared with field inspection, production simulation and payback period; then turnkey installation follows.
Services, warranty and financing
Typically 3–6 years depending on consumption profile, region and electricity price. Get an estimate with our calculator.
Roof orientation, tilt, shading and load-bearing structure matter. Our field team assesses suitability during the free survey.
Our A-brand panels carry up to 25-year performance warranty; inverters 5–12 years product warranty.
In unlicensed generation, surplus energy is handled under net metering. We share the details based on your project.
Yes. We advise on loan/leasing and incentive applications with partner institutions.
Rooftop solar installation
Yes. The mounting system is chosen for the roof type: hooks on tile roofs, rails and clamps on trapezoidal and sandwich panels, and tilted frames on flat concrete roofs. Whether the roof structure is suitable is checked during the site survey.
They can, but output is lower; south, east and west orientations are more productive. Because shade can also reduce the output of the whole string, a shading analysis is done during the site survey and the layout is adjusted if needed.
On-site installation depends on the system size; for homes it usually takes a few days. The overall timeline is mostly set by the distribution company's application and approval steps and becomes clear after the site survey.
Panels and the mounting system add load to the roof. Whether the structure can carry this load together with wind and snow effects is assessed during the site survey; if needed, a structural review is requested.
Ground-mounted solar
The area needed depends on the target capacity, the row spacing and the slope of the land. The layout and row-spacing tools in the calculator give a first estimate; the final layout is set during the site survey and design.
The land's classification and permitted use are subject to the rules of the relevant authorities, so suitability is verified separately for each project. For irrigation systems, pump demand and generation are planned together.
In winter the sun is low, so a front row can shade the one behind it. Row spacing is calculated from the latitude and panel tilt to limit this shading; the row-spacing tool in the calculator gives a first value.
For the electricity to be fed into the grid, the connection point needs enough capacity. Capacity and connection conditions are confirmed through the distribution company's process, so the installed capacity is planned around them.
Energy storage and batteries
It depends on whether the existing inverter supports a battery. With a hybrid inverter the battery can be added directly; otherwise a separate AC-coupled battery inverter is used. Compatibility is confirmed by a technical review.
Daily consumption (kWh) is multiplied by the desired days of autonomy and then divided by the battery's usable depth of discharge and the system efficiency. The battery sizing tool in the calculator does this with your own figures.
Battery life is given as a number of cycles (charge–discharge rounds) rather than years and depends on the chemistry, depth of discharge and temperature. Each product's cycle life is stated in the manufacturer's data sheet.
In a ventilated place out of direct sunlight, protected from moisture and within the temperature range stated by the manufacturer. High temperatures shorten battery life.
Maintenance and monitoring
The frequency is planned according to dust build-up, local conditions and the size of the plant. When monitoring data shows an unexpected drop in output, an extra inspection is carried out.
Following the manufacturer's instructions, with non-abrasive materials and suitable water; high-pressure water and hard brushes can damage the surface. Working on a roof requires safety measures.
Current and past output are tracked through the inverter and the monitoring platform, so faults and warnings are spotted early and production losses do not go unnoticed for long.
Soiling, loosened connections and unnoticed inverter faults reduce output and in some cases create a safety risk. Regular inspection and monitoring catch these losses early.
Solar irrigation
Yes. With a suitable pump drive, submersible and surface pumps run directly on solar.
Diesel and grid bills are almost entirely eliminated. Typical payback is 2–4 years; after that your irrigation cost is near zero.
Usually 2–5 years depending on your current fuel/electricity cost, pump power and irrigation duration. Get an estimate with our calculator.
Daytime irrigation is usually enough; a battery or grid-hybrid setup is added if needed.
After the survey, typical installation takes a few days. Early planning is recommended to be ready for the season; the calendar gets busy.
Rural development grants and bank loans are available for agricultural solar investments. We evaluate current incentives and financing together.
Cost and calculator
Installation cost is proportional to system size (kWp): the calculator uses the current estimated cost per kWp and adds storage cost if a battery is selected. The exact price is finalized after a free site survey.
Results are estimates based on realistic assumptions including regional yield, roof orientation and panel degradation; exact values are determined by site survey and engineering.
It depends on panel wattage: the calculator uses the default panel power and approximate roof area per kWp shown in the Assumptions box; panel count and required area appear automatically on the result card.
Savings from annual production are accumulated year by year with panel degradation and an electricity price scenario; the year cumulative savings exceed the investment is the payback period. In Türkiye it is typically 3–6 years.
Building an off-grid system
Appliance power and daily runtime determine the requirement. Enter device quantities and hours in the System Builder to estimate daily kWh, panel kWp, battery kWh and inverter kW.
The inverter must cover simultaneous loads and motor starting demand. The System Builder includes simultaneity and startup allowance to suggest minimum power before you select a hybrid or off-grid model.
LiFePO₄ offers deeper discharge (about 90%) and longer cycle life, with higher upfront cost but lower lifetime cost per kWh. Gel batteries cost less initially but have shorter life. Compare both in the System Builder.
Prices are indicative list prices including VAT and may vary with stock, exchange rates and offers. After your request, a free assessment is followed by a written final quote.

Portable power station (UNV Trek Pro 2500)
It powers devices drawing up to 2,500 W: refrigerator, television, laptop, modem, lighting and most small appliances. With 2,496 Wh of capacity, a device drawing 100 W runs for roughly 20 hours including conversion losses; the runtime depends on the device's power draw.
There are 14 outputs in total: 4 × 230 V AC sockets, 4 × USB-A, 2 × USB Type-C and 12 V DC outputs. All of them can be used at the same time as long as the combined load stays under 2,500 W.
If the mains fails while the unit is plugged in, it switches to its own battery within 30 milliseconds. Equipment such as computers, modems and camera recorders stays on.
A solar panel is not included with the product. Ask us before ordering about panel and connection options suited to your use.
This product is manufactured with different socket standards. We confirm the socket type of the unit you will receive over WhatsApp before you order; we do not ship a version that does not fit.
PV solar water heater
Yes. On cloudy/rainy days or at night, the system automatically switches to grid (AC) heating based on water temperature, ensuring hot water year-round.
Models from 60–200 L are available by household size. 60–80 L for 1–2 people, 100–120 L for 3–4, 150–200 L for 5+.
Horizontal models (60/80/100 L) suit compact spaces and balconies; vertical models (120/150/200 L) are ideal for large families and high consumption.
On sunny days heating is largely free, saving significantly versus a traditional electric boiler. The exact figure depends on usage and region.
Roof/terrace integrated installation is done by our team. Enamel inner tank and A-brand equipment ensure long life; details are confirmed during a free survey.
In evacuated-tube systems the water circulates inside the tubes, bringing risks of scaling, freezing and tube breakage. In a photovoltaic system the panel only generates electricity and water never enters it — the plumbing is simple, there is no freezing risk in winter, and the panel can go on the roof while the tank stays indoors.
Yes. The water is inside the insulated tank, not in the panel, and the control unit has freeze protection. On days when the sun isn't enough, grid support kicks in.
Usually yes. Connection dimensions are standard and the existing hot/cold water lines can be used. The mounting surface must carry the filled weight and a shade-free spot is needed for the panel — we check both during the survey.
There are no moving parts. Dusting the panel once or twice a year, checking the relief valve annually and inspecting the magnesium anode every 2–4 years depending on water hardness is enough.
EV solar conversion (BOOST MPPT)
The contribution depends on panel power and daily sunshine. A panel that fits on a vehicle roof supports the pack through the day rather than filling it from empty on its own: it reduces charging drawn from the grid and keeps the battery topped up while parked. We calculate the realistic contribution for your battery capacity together during the survey.
Yes. The unit works with AGM (VRLA), gel (VRLA), flooded lead-acid and lithium batteries; a user profile lets charge parameters match the battery maker's recommended values. We configure the correct profile during installation, so we confirm the battery type at the site assessment.
The unit supports 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 V battery systems, with a panel input range of 15–60 V DC. Systems outside that range need a different solution — share your vehicle's rating plate and we will pick the right hardware together.
Charge parameters can be programmed from a phone and system status monitored. We set everything to your battery pack during installation; afterwards you can follow generation and charge status yourself if you wish.
The panel generates whenever it receives light, so the system works both parked and moving. Output is highest during the hours the vehicle stands unshaded in the open.
Manufacturers' warranty terms differ from brand to brand. We review your vehicle's warranty status with you before installation and never proceed without clearing it with you first.
Passenger-cab e-trike set (285 W)
Yes. The BOOST MPPT unit in the package is configured to work with 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 V battery packs.
The mounting frame is chosen to suit the vehicle's roof structure. In the Antalya region we offer optional on-site installation; in other provinces we provide the mounting diagram and phone support.
Depending on stock we ship 4 mm² or 6 mm²; both are suitable for these systems.
Bed vehicles have a wider roof area; the 655 W package is more productive for them.
Cargo-bed e-trike set (655 W)
Yes. The BOOST MPPT unit in the package is configured to work with 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 V battery packs.
The panel weighs about 31 kg and the mounting frame spreads the load onto the bed chassis. We assess your vehicle's structure together with you before the order.
Depending on stock we ship 4 mm² or 6 mm²; both are suitable for these systems.
Enclosed passenger vehicles have a narrow roof; the 285 W package suits them better.
72 V LiFePO₄ traction battery
Yes — on 72 V systems it goes in where the gel or lead-acid pack was. The charger must be LiFePO₄-compatible (CC/CV, ~83.95 V); an old gel charger will not charge this pack correctly.
The pack measures about 41 × 16 × 17 cm. Before ordering, compare this with the inside dimensions of your vehicle's battery compartment. If you are unsure, send us the compartment measurements via WhatsApp and we will check them together.
Range depends on the vehicle's motor power, load, tyre pressure and road gradient, so we do not quote a figure in kilometres. The one certain number is the energy: 72 V × 30 Ah ≈ 2,160 Wh. If you know your vehicle's consumption we can work it out together.
No — the battery is sold on its own. A suitable charger is a LiFePO₄-compatible CC/CV type: charge voltage ~83.95 V, recommended charge current 6–10 A. We can check your existing charger together before you order.
The manufacturer's data sheet gives 3,000 – 6,000 charge cycles. At one full cycle a day that is many times the typical life of a gel battery; the exact figure depends on how hard you use it.
Yes. For charging a 72 V pack straight from a panel we use the BOOST MPPT 24–72 V charge controller; it is also in our ready-made e-trike solar sets.
Pool safety — AI Lifeguard
No — and it shouldn't. The international ISO 20380 standard defines these systems as a secondary supervision layer supporting the lifeguard. It extends your lifeguard's field of view and reaction speed.
No. Lifeguard numbers and qualifications are set by regulation; the system does not reduce or remove that obligation. ISO 20380 likewise defines this technology as a secondary surveillance layer supporting the lifeguard. Its contribution is not staff savings: it extends your existing team's field of view to the whole pool, delivers location information within seconds at the moment of risk, and turns every alert into a record you can show in audits.
Yes. In most projects installation is possible without draining the pool or closing the business; cabling and mounting can be scheduled for hours when the pool is closed. Total duration depends on the number of pools and existing infrastructure; the exact schedule is committed in the written quote after the free survey. After installation the system is calibrated for your facility and your lifeguard team receives on-site training. Facilities that prefer not to start mid-season can reserve next season's installation slot now.
Standard security cameras are designed for general surveillance; reflections, glare and viewing-angle issues on the water surface usually make them insufficient for drowning detection. The system runs on its own cameras designed for this task. That said, your existing cabling, network and recording infrastructure is assessed during the free survey; suitable parts can be reused, which can reduce installation time and cost.
The camera count is engineered from the pool's surface area, shape, depth zones and blind spots; the goal is continuous coverage of the entire surface. A single regular-shaped pool may need only a few cameras, while pools with slides or divided sections need a larger coverage plan. The exact count and layout are presented in the written quote with a coverage sketch prepared at the free survey.
No system can promise zero false alarms; quality systems are designed to keep them to a few per day and are calibrated per facility. Every alert is stored as a record and report.
Footage is processed on an in-facility server and is not transferred to the cloud or abroad. The recording policy is configured to keep only incident moments, in line with data-protection law, and privacy notices are displayed at facility entrances.
With installation you receive pool-specific privacy notice and retention policy templates; your facility's main step is displaying these visibly at entrances and adding them to your existing KVKK documentation. Cameras are engineered to see only the pool and its surroundings; changing cabins, showers and similar private areas are excluded from coverage. Footage is processed on the on-site local server and is not transferred to the cloud or abroad. For the final legal assessment we recommend having your own KVKK counsel approve the texts.
The price has three main components: camera count per the coverage plan, the on-site AI server with alarm units (smartwatches, audible-visual alerts) and installation-calibration labour. Since pool count and size differ per facility, instead of a single list price we present a written quote with a coverage sketch after the free survey. You can pay as a one-time turnkey investment or via the Monthly Safety Service model bundling hardware, software, maintenance and support: from 299 USDper month, options up to 36 months.
Yes. After the installation fee we offer fixed monthly service plans covering hardware, software, maintenance and support in one package. From 299 USDper month, with payment options of up to 36 months.
Our CE/RED test reports carry accredited laboratory numbers; the document numbers are listed openly in the Certification section of this page. Report copies are e-mailed on corporate request.
