Golf-cart-type electric vehicles have a flat, wide roof; using that area for a small panel means losing daily yield. The set includes a 460 W half-cut monocrystalline solar panel chosen for this roof.
Alongside the panel the package includes a BOOST MPPT 24–72 V charge controller: your battery pack may be 24, 36, 48, 60 or 72 V, and it works with AGM, gel, flooded lead-acid and lithium batteries alike. It raises the panel voltage to what the battery needs and charges it directly.
Five metres of black and five metres of red solar cable plus an MC4 connector set are also included. So when you open the box you need nothing else to run the line between the panel and the controller.
