### Can I run my submersible pump on solar?

Yes. With a suitable pump drive, submersible and surface pumps run directly on solar.

### How much does solar irrigation save compared to diesel?

Diesel and grid bills are almost entirely eliminated. Typical payback is 2–4 years; after that your irrigation cost is near zero.

### How many years does the system take to pay back?

Usually 2–5 years depending on your current fuel/electricity cost, pump power and irrigation duration. Get an estimate with our calculator.

### Do I need a battery for night irrigation?

Daytime irrigation is usually enough. If you need to irrigate at night, a battery is added. A hybrid setup that runs the same pump from the grid at night requires an application and acceptance procedure with the distribution company; the system must not be operated before acceptance is complete. We handle the application process.

### How long does installation take — will it be ready for the season?

After the survey, typical installation takes a few days. Early planning is recommended to be ready for the season; the calendar gets busy.

### Are there government incentives or financing?
